Get Into Reading
Our Get into Reading groups are different to conventional book groups, they are designed to promote wellbeing through the shared experience of reading together. Get into Reading is run by trained facilitators in an informal and friendly setting. The groups meet weekly for the duration of the course and read through a short story and poem with human content which the group can then reflect on. Everyone is welcome, the groups are inclusive and non judgemental. There is no need to be able to read, just listen and enjoy or if you feel able to, you can read a passage with the group. Meet others and gain confidence from reading and exploring literature together!
