The help from the Mind Benefit project in dealing with my benefits has given me more time to work on my recovery.

Benefits for Better Mental Health bbmh logo

If you have mental health problems and benefits trouble then we can help you. David Bryceland and Samantha Spurgeon are Oxfordshire Mind's Benefits Advice Workers. We can advise on any aspect of welfare benefits whatever your circumstances.

We can help you to:

Get and fill in the right forms
Make and take difficult phone calls
Get backdated payments
Resolve problems with over- or under-payments
Appeal against decisions

We hold regular advice clinics in venues across Oxfordshire.

The Benefits Hotline is open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 1pm on 01865 263756 for basic advice and signposting.

You can ring us on 07754 999 411 (David) or 07501 469384 (Samantha), or email David or Samantha. We try to respond to any messages as soon as possible.

To find out when the benefits advisors will be in your area, view their schedule here.
